Jim Briggs III

President & Owner

Jim has grown up in the septic business, and after working with his grandfather and father for over 35 years, he is now the owner/operator. He also continues his education on new technologies with classes at The University of Rhode Island’s Onsite Wastewater Training facility. Jim attended URI and studied landscape architecture. His responsibilities include pumping of septic tanks, system upgrades, any repairs, system designs, and installations. Jim is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the business and can answer any questions you may have. His licenses and qualifications also include:

RIDEM licensed septic installer
RIDEM certified septic inspector in towns of South Kingstown, Charlestown, North Kingstown, and Jamestown
RIDEM septic hauler license

Victoria Briggs

Vice President

When her husband Jim, became the 4^th generation owner of Briggs Septic- she jumped right in as well! Victoria was formerly a veterinary nurse for 10 + years before staying at home with their twin girls, so there was a lot to learn. She took classes at URI’s OWTS Program to become a licensed Septic Inspector, but still leaves all the fieldwork to Jim. Victoria is in charge of everything in the office that makes Briggs Septic run so well - answering the phone, scheduling appointments, accounting, and more. Victoria enjoys her roll as wife/mom/boss, and is very thankful for their customers' understanding and patience as she performs all her daily jobs - usually at the same time!
